CAN YOU BELIEVE THE CARBAGE BEING SERVED IN MICKEY'S HOUSE?

The Macaroni And Cheese Bread Cone Is Taking Over Disney’s Theme Parks

In today's episode, our co-hosts Jimmy Moore and Dietitian Cassie are honored to have two of the most inspiring guest friends we've ever had on the show in Sean Coonce from "Pastured Kitchen" who suffers from what's known as absence seizures and now controls them with a ketogenic Paleo diet and Alix Hayden from "GreyMadder" who is managing a cancerous tumor in her brain with a ketogenic diet. Listen in to hear Jimmy, Cassie, Sean and Alix sharing their thoughts and opinions about why there is a macaroni and cheese bread cone being served at the concession stands at Disney parks, the New York school that decided to reject federal school lunch mandates because their kids were too hungry, a new study of the ketogenic diet for Parkinson's disease coming in early 2015, the question of whether raw brown sugar is any better than refined white sugar, and the lack of science involved in creating the Dietary Guidelines for Americans. Plus, don't miss Sean's Chorizo Stir Fry recipe and Alix's Keto Old Fashioned Cream Soda recipe at the end. It's time to pull up a chair, grab a cup of coffee and let's talk!
