Welcome to Low Carb Conversations with Leah Williamson, Holly Jean Barrett and Amber Horn, Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioners.

This week on the podcast Leah and Amber interview Kathryn Kos of Primal Musings. Kathryn is a Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner and author of the book, 40’s on Fire – Honor Your Moods, Rediscover Your Sexuality, Thrive Throughout Your 40’s. She is passionate about empowering women as they transition into their 40’s and beyond, so they can move into the next chapter with energy, joy, and fulfillment.

In this episode we touched on the negativity surrounding aging for women. There was so much doom and gloom when we were researching articles for this episode. Does the transition have to be so awful? We then discuss an article about a women going through menopause and feeling depressed. Her Doctor did not believe her and felt it was “normal”. We ask is depression something that should be classed as a normal part of menopause? We end up the show discussing seed cycling – what is it and is it something you should try?
