Natalee explains a past of depression, miscarriage, corporate burnout and an Autoimmune condition Arthritis Ankylosing Spondylitis where she was told her spine would fuse and her eventual fate could possibly be a wheelchair. One day she became inspired to take life into her own hands through diet, exercise and mindset and never looked back.
Kara, Leah, Jessica and Natalee discuss that scandal in the paleo world that is Pete Evans new documentary, "The Magic Pill." Doctors absolutely slammed Evans for saying switching to a real foods diet can aid in treating chronic health conditions. Evan's talks about how grains effect the gut and a ketogenic diet can be beneficial for seizure patients. Unfortunately, the Australian Medical Association found this utterly insulting. Are they being too harsh, or is there validity to Evans' claims? Transitioning into the second article was based around sleep. A new study shows that poor sleep can increase obesity and being overweight. Jessica and Natalee dissect just how vital sleep can be for our metabolism and over all health. You don't want to miss it!
